Story
I’m Stuart Duncan, I’m co-owner of Brown & Steele Builders and have been married to Nadine for 5 years and we have two gorgeous (energetic) boys, Leo who’s 4 and Rui who’s 1.
Anyone who knows me knows that at the end of my busy day working, I’m straight home to fun time with my boys who manage to squeeze the very last drop of energy out me! So why on earth did I agree to late night dance lessons, swapping my dungarees for skin tight lyrca and glittery shirts and getting my two left feet onto the dance floor in front of hundreds of people? Is it to kick-start a new career? Is it a mid-life crisis? No, it’s all about fundraising for such a worthwhile cause – and when you see me dance, you’ll know it really is all about raising funds (and a few laughs too!) for Killie Community Trust.
Ayrshire Does Strictly is a great night but more importantly it raises much needed monies which really does makes a difference to the community so when I was asked to take part this year, I couldn’t say no. Just need to find where Nadine tidied my John Travolta jacket away to!! I don’t do dancing and hoped for a partner with a good sense of humour and a lot of patience and luckily I have, Leanne, who’s “almost” sure she can manage to get me looking more like a dancer than a joiner that’s just dropped a hammer on his toe!
I am hoping you will all help me raise funds by donating anything you can, every penny really does help and I would be so grateful for your support, all donations will be very much appreciated. You will be helping support people who need it and I promise for my part I’ll put in every effort to entertain you all.
Thank you so much in advance.
Stuart
