Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. I received a place in the London Marathon 2025 through the ballot, and want to use this event to raise as much money as possible for the St James's Place Charitable Foundation in aid of The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND).

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a condition that affects the brain and nerves. It causes weakness that gets worse over time. There's no cure for MND, but raising money will go towards invaluable research and treatments to help reduce the impact it has on a person's daily life.

My grandfather passed away from the disease many years ago, and having discussed the many great charities that I could raise money for with my mum we agreed that this would be a great charity to support as it's one that is especially close to her heart.

I appreciate that not everyone has spare money to donate, but if you would like to donate, anything at all is gratefully received and will help towards research of this terrible disease, and even a share of my page would be very welcome :)

If you are also running the marathon or have any events coming up and want to get involved in training, please feel free to drop me a message.

Thanks again,

Stu
