My Story:

Hi!

My name is Hayley and I found myself homeless last year. This May officially marks 1 year since Crisis helped me beat homelessness by finding a place to call home.

At the age of 21, I never thought I'd be homeless, but then I guess many people don't think that. I fell into a dark hole and I had to let go of my fear and reach out.

Crisis helped with more than just the homeless aspect. They became my spokesperson when dealing with the local council who dealt with my case awfully (which they did hold their hands to). They stayed and supported me through multiple mental breakdowns; trust me, there was ALOT!

The support didn't just stop when I found a place to call home, they gave me advice regarding budging, which benefits I could potentially access and gave me the everyday essentials.

I am doing this 12 hour stream as a my way of saying thank you!
