The Event

The Welsh 3000s is known as one of the hardest hiking challenges in the UK and comprises tackling the 15 tallest mountains in Snowdonia within 24 hours. The length is about 24 miles, but the walks to the start point and down from the finish point can take it to over 30 miles in total. We will be aiming to complete it in under 16 hours. Just completing will be a huge effort as it involves over 9000 feet of climbing. We'll be starting at 4am and finishing... just finishing.

Rob is the lucky driver, who we are sincerely grateful for as he'll be feeding us and meeting us at several key points. Do turn up Rob!
