Story
As a school, we have signed up to support Leeds Hospitals Charity with their Leeds Bear Hunt 2023 initiative. Leeds Hospitals Charity supports Leeds Teaching Hospitals to make a huge difference for the patients, their families and staff.
St Paul’s have designed and decorated our very own bear cub that will be used in the trail and then will return to school afterwards for us to keep. We decided on a children’s mental health theme, with the vision that we will use the bear cub for years to come to enable our children to develop healthy strategies that promote positive mental health. St Paul’s ‘Care Bear’ will be placed in Leeds St John’s Centre, from 1st July for 10 weeks and we hope that our children will have the opportunity to visit our bear cub during this time.
As part of our commitment to this fantastic initiative, we have pledged to raise £1000 as a school community for Leeds Hospitals Charity. On Tuesday 4th July, our children will take part in a sponsored Obstacle Course, including a Fun Run, a Bear Hunt and a Giant Inflatable Assault Course. We would love for you to encourage family and friends to sponsor your child to complete this challenge and raise money for this fantastic charity!
