Story
Our dear friend, Paul ‘Spin’ Spencer is bravely battling terminal cancer and has been supported by Bury Hospice throughout his illness.
Bury Hospice has been a beacon of light to Paul, supporting both him and his family through their darkest of times. Bury Hospice is an incredible facility which is mainly funded by charitable donations (only 13% of the running costs are Government funded).
On Saturday 28th September a group of Paul’s friends - Mel, Craig, Krissy, Caz, Chris, Danny, Rick, Colette, Ric, Matt, Parky & Michelle will be taking on the Bury 6 Trek challenge (2 waterfalls, 2 towers, and 2 wells), covering 21 picturesque miles (35km) with 932 metres of climbing over 11 hours, to help raise money for the hospice.
Show your support for our intrepid trekkers as they take on the Bury Six Trek as every donation counts:
£10 - COULD PAY FOR A PATIENTS EVENING MEAL
£25 - COULD PAY FOR A BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT SESSION
£50 - COULD PAY FOR A HOME VISIT BY OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM
£75 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR HALF A DAY
£150 - COULD PAY FOR A NURSE FOR A DAY
Please donate generously to raise vital funds for the hospice and help make a difference to people in our community with life-limiting illnesses.
