We provide inspiration and support to people seriously injured through sport

Story

At St Nicholas, we are challenging ourselves to walk, jog or run around our new track at least the number of times equal to our ages in years each day for the whole of the term!

One of our focuses this term is on building resilience, and we want to challenge ourselves and prove that we can all achieve amazing things and overcome challenges when we work as a team and push ourselves!

We also want to promote getting outdoors and being physical as a great way to boost our mental and physical health!

Finally, we want to give back! We are so lucky to have had our track installed thanks to our amazing PTFA raising money, and the generous donations from both Mick George and the Army Benevolent Fund. We want to raise money for the Matt Hampson Foundation which provides advice, support, relief and treatment for anyone aged 16 or over suffering serious injury or disability which has primarily arisen from participation in or training for any sport or sporting activity. The children will be learning a little bit about the work of the foundation and the inspirational people involved.
