Every year, over 2,000 young people visit Alltnacriche as part of a residential experience, during which they have a genuine opportunity to explore the Christian faith, open the Bible and respond to the significance of Jesus. SU Alltnacriche has excellent accommodation, catering and activity facilities, enabling visiting leaders to use a wide variety of mediums to engage children and young people. 

What they really lack is space for the small group work that is so critical in supporting young people to take steps in exploring faith. Visiting groups often use corridors and entrance spaces as make-shift areas to support young people in reading and understanding the Bible, often for the first time. They would like to begin to address this by extending the main lounge area, in time also adding another new group space elsewhere. SU are confident that this will be an effective way to enable more young people to be discipled and grow as Christians.

If you would like to contribute towards this whole church Christmas gift, then SU have requested for us to use JustGiving*. We have therefore put together this page, to collect together our gifts for SU Scotland. Although JustGiving charge a small fee (1.9%), this is less than the administrative cost of SU of receiving gifts individually, allocating them to the correct appeal and claiming gift aid.
