Brave the Wave for MYTIME Young Carers

Stewart Perrett is raising money for MYTIME Young Carers
Will you Brave the Wave with MYTIME for young carers this January? The aim is simple. Get in the sea, or other cold water sources, every day in January. The reality is much harder, so join our own Tim Sills and dip every day in the winter sea!

Story

Young carers work incredibly hard to take care of their loved ones. This could involve daily household tasks, mental health support, helping a loved one get showered and/or dressed and much much more. It is a 24/7 responsibility and on top of that they go to school, college, university or work. It's just their way of life. This can ultimately lead to them facing significant disadvantage as a result and MYTIME Young Carers don't think that's right or fair.

Having met two young carers talk about their experiences and how MYTIME has helped them so much, I decided to take up this challenge and help raise funds.

On a personal level its a challenge for myself, I have been doing a weekly sea dip all year round for several years but this is a whole new level!!!
