Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our dearest friend Steven 'Beaver' MacDonald, sadly lost his hard fought battle with EGRF positive lung cancer in 2023. Unsurprisingly given his character, his friendships cast a wide net. A few of us from his home town in Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands and Berkamsted, where he laid down his family home, are cycling in his honour in the 2024 Loch Ness Etape. (See the names of the full Clan below!)

We wish to raise funds for EGFR Positive UK whose purpose is to improve the overall survival and quality of life of EGFR positive lung cancer patients across the UK and who supported Steven and his family through his illness. We appreciate any donations, no matter how small, to contribute to this great cause.

Thank you for your support.

We are dedicated to supporting research and advocacy to change EGFR positive lung cancer into a chronic disease that can be managed long-term. We work to raise awareness of EGFR positive lung cancer and end the stigma associated with lung cancer. We know that anyone with lungs can get lung cancer.
