Walk for John was originally started in 2014 on the anniversary of my Dad's passing. When I decided to dedicate the day he passed away to others in his memory. Each year we have walked in his memory raising money for great charities such as Severn Hospice, Help Appeal, MND.

In the last 9 years I have been joined by the best of family and friends, together, we have walked over 300 miles, climbed the height of Everest nearly three times and raised over £40,000.

This year on 18 November 2023 we will be walking the Sandstone trail from Delemere to Whitchurch nearly 40km in length with many ups and downs.

This year we have decided to walk for Pancreatic Cancer UK after we lost our beloved Sue who suffered from this awful disease from March this year. For those who don't know Sue is my Wife's Claire's mum who we sadly lost suddenly in August.

I wish to thank everyone who has walked or donated over the last 9 years you are all amazing and have helped this walk gain momentum and achieve the extraordinary. I am sure my Dad would be mighty proud of what you have achieved.
