Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page to support rescue dogs.🐕

I'm aiming to fulfill a challenging ambition by completing the 2025 London Marathon, whilst raising some funds for Dogs Trust, a fantastic charity which is there to support any dog who is in need of love and care.

The Dogs Trust has kindly offered me a once in a lifetime place for the London Marathon 2025, and in return I'm aiming to raise £2000.00 to support their amazing work, with dogs of all shapes and sizes who are in need of help. Having taken in our rescue dog, Willow, I know first hand how rewarding it is to adopt and change the life of a dog who had previously been abandoned and mistreated, and who was terrified and in a terrible state. She ended up in an animal shelter similar to Dogs Trust, which is where we found her. These charities work tirelessly to care for pets; many require vetinary care whilst they await a chance of finding a new family for life.

I am so excited to do the Marathon, and will be undergoing an intensive training plan to get me marathon ready, but I need your help with the fundraising. Please will you support me; whatever the amount, every bit counts.

A bit about what Dogs Trust did during 2023:

They cared for 13,374 dogs across their 22 centres.

They found new homes for 10,588 dogs, including 400 "underdogs" who had been in their care for over 6 months, as their pledge is never to put down a healthy dog.

They fostered a further 3,650 dogs through their Home from Home scheme.

They ran 12,806 Dog School Classes, helping  dogs and their humans understand each other better.

With our help, we can help many more pooches get the fresh start they deserve.
