Story

For the 3rd year running I've signed up to the ride 274 miles in August for The Brain Tumour Research charity, as part of their summer cycling challenge and help fund the fight against brain tumours to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

Again this year I'll be taking part in memory of my friend Richard Walker (Fester) who tragically passed away after being diagnosed with a Glioblastoma in 2021. He lost his battle in the summer of 2022. Leaving behind his partner Sarah and their son Charlie. Fester was a great friend, support and inspiration to me during my recovery from brain surgery in July 2020.

So please help & support me in this challenge with your sponsorship, please. No matter how small, every donation is hugely appreciated.

So far I have completed 118 miles, so still on track after scans on Friday 👍. Then I'll need another enforced break for a few days due to treatment a week today.

Thanks,

Steve. X

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
