Story
Following the operation to remove as much of the Brain Tumor as possible I'm taking part in this years Thanet 5k Colour Run Sunday 6th October to raise funds for local hospice care, who have been instrumental in my recovery, providing lots of opportunities for taking part in activities such as:
Relax and Restore sessions (helping with stress and anxiety)
Neuro Rehab ( Huge part of the Executive Function challenges following the operation such as difficulty concentrating, Problem Solving, Rational Behaviour)
Counselling
Volunteering (Quex House Sunshine project - maintaining Quex House gardens)
While I still have a long way to go, along with my family and friends I'm using this next challenge to celebrate all my wins to date and to give back to the amazing team of people providing these services at the Pilgrims Hospice.
Pilgrims Hospices deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year. They rely on charitable giving for around 80% of their funding and your support could make such a difference to their work.
Your generous support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
