So the time has come...something I could do for a charity that means so much to me popped up in conversation and I've signed up to take part in the 61st Gawthorpe Maypole & World Coal Carrying Championship on Easter Monday, 1st April. A 1km race carrying a 50kg sack of coal! Thank god there's a pub at the finishing line 🍺

Donations to MY Hospitals Charity from any events organised by our friends and family go directly to the Hematology ward at Pinderfields Hospital, in memory of my brother Mathew who we lost in January 2022.
