I am raising money for the Beatson by swimming from Alcatraz prison to the main land - San Francisco. The total distance is 2 miles in total in open cold water, battling against the tides and current, not to mention the sharks! This has always been an ambition of mine and thought I would raise money for a good cause while doing it.
