Sharon my wife passed away at Lindsey Lodge Hospice at Scunthorpe. The care she received on two occasions was amazing, the hospice is a charity and costs 4.5 million to run each year.

The support they gave Sharon and myself was first class, they are so caring and compassionate.

Me and my son Danny Harris are doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise some money for the charity.

Lindsey Lodge offers a wide-range of personalised care which is provided by a versatile team of different professional staff and volunteers. As well as taking care of a patient's physical needs, they also look after their emotional, spiritual and social needs.They also support carers, family members and close friends, both during a person's illness and during bereavement.
