Story

Paul Paxton, Paco to most of the viewers of this page made his 500 appearances for BSFC. Paul is known locally for his dedication to this team, which he has been part of since he joined the club in 1994 and later became player/manager. Paul since then has had issues with his back which then unfortunately led to a diagnosis of this cancer returning in May 2022.

Sadly, Paco (Paul Paxton), who has raised many thousands for charity over the years, lost his battle with cancer in May - and we're all devastated.

BSFC management and myself have pulled together and organised a charity game in his name formed of the current BSFC squad versus the 2014 title winning team. We would all love to see as many former players and supporters join us at New Advocates Park, Golf Rd, Aberdeen AB24 1RG for a 2pm Kick off.

Everyone welcome, past and present players, colleagues, family and friends. We felt this was a good opportunity to raise money for a charity close to Paul's heart, Friends of Anchor. FoA is a local charity that helped Paul during his hospital stays and trips to the Anchor ward for intravenous treatment days as well as continue support Pauls loved ones.
