Hey everyone,

I've done a few runs in my time sure, around 6 half marathons and a bunch of 10k, but not once have I ever finished one and I thought I could do that distance all over again for a full marathon. However, in April 2024, I aim to do just that.

I will be running for the Meningitis Research Foundation in memory of the very loved and very missed Lorna Begg who we lost this year. As we all struggle to make sense of it, it made some sense to try and help the charity that aims to create a world free of Meningitis.

Everyone will run for a cause close to their heart and this one is close to mine.

For the next year, I don't need birthday or Christmas presents or beers but I would very much like for others to not lose someone who should have had years ahead of them. Maybe we can all help make that happen.
