Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page in support of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).
Starting on Saturday 2nd November, I will be running 50 Half Marathons in 50 Days in aid of KSS (in the year of having turned 50).
Having seen first hand the great work the air ambulance team do, it's a cause very close to my heart and I'm keen to raise them much needed funds and generate exposure to all the great things they do.
Still part of my wider challenge of running the distance of the world - The Run The World Challenge - I will be completing over 1000km in the space of just 50 days.
Saturday 2nd November will be my 2864th consecutive day of running having started back on 31st December 2016 and at some point during the 50 in 50 I will break the 25,000km barrier, leaving me with around 15,000km to complete the Run The World Challenge.
Running every day is hard enough, so taking it up to a half marathon a day for 50 days will be the hardest thing I've done in this challenge so far, so I'd welcome anyone that can sponsor me - every pound matters!
KSS is an independent charity. It costs over £18.8M a year to sustain their world-leading, cutting edge, innovative service and amazingly 88% is donated and raised by the people of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Your donation means KSS can continue to provide the best care at the worst of times for their patients, and stay at the forefront of pre-hospital critical care.
