For the 3rd year in a row, I will be taking on the Ten Y Fan event in Wales in May. This year I have chosen to raise funds for Vasculitis UK (https://www.vasculitis.org.uk/) Vasculitis covers a range of related illnesses stemming from inflammation of the blood vessels, and has had a profound effect on both sides of our family.

Ten Y Fan is an amazing event that involves climbing 2,907ft Pen Y Fan in Bannau Brycheiniog (formerly Brecon Beacons) 10 times in a row, within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 40 miles, and involves some 16,000ft of climbing and descending, equivalent to climbing Scafell Pike 5 times back to back, or Ben Nevis 4 times, making it an extremely hard challenge.
