The 'real' John Clarke, whose death from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma sparked the original WI Calendar, is memorialised in Calendar Girls, the movie and the musical, and Steve will be having his head shaved in preparation to play this role for BROS Theatre Company's upcoming production 14-18 November 2023 at Hampton Hill Theatre.
