I'm taking on Mind's 56 miles in February challenge.
Reason for me doing this challenge:
I’ve struggled with my own mental health and especially stress, 3 years ago my stress was so bad that I lost the ability to stand and walk for a while I had to have crutches to get around and then eventually a stick but but with physiotherapists help I was able to walk unaided.
It’s difficult to put into words how it feels to be able to talk to someone about your own mindset and I have an amazing family and an amazing support structure that allows me to be me and vent what’s ever on my mind
It’s now been almost 2.5 years since I started embracing “healthy body healthy mind”
Now more than ever, people struggling from mental health problems need our support. In the UK, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem this year. Mind needs your help so that they can be there for anyone who needs them, on the phone, in local communities and campaigning for change.
