Over the last 16 years the Leeds 10K has grown to become one of the highlights of the city's events calendar, and is a hugely popular, inclusive and supported race for participants of all abilities.

Story

My son, Michael and I will be running the Leeds 10K on behalf of St George's Crypt.

St George's Crypt has been leading the way in tackling homelessness in Leeds for 94 years. They offer support to some of the most vulnerable people in Leeds in the form of accommodation, support work, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Recently, the charity launched the Growing Rooms Ladies programme, a 15-month, female only rehab programme - the first of its kind in Leeds.

Now, more than ever, people face the threat of losing their homes. The cost of living is increasing, housing costs are on the rise, and employment levels continue to stagnate.

If you would like to help me to support those at most risk from these threats, now is the time!
