Urban Tri · 9 March 2024

We support families with pre-school children who are experiencing hardship. We providing good quality pre-owned clothing, toys, and equipment.

Story

The Fit Green and Nudge are at it again.

We're taking on our Urban Tri and we're raising money for Woking Hospice.

We'll be doing:

💪 a 30-minute fitness camp followed by

🏃‍♀️ a 5k walk/run followed by

🧘‍♂️ a 30-minute Nudge's hybrid class back-to-back-to-back.

It's like a triathlon, but different.

The Jigsaw project, operating from he Lighthouse, supports families in financial need with pre-school children. In Surrey approximately 23,000 children and young people live in poverty. We provide non-judgemental support, giving an immediate response to families in crisis. Referrals to Jigsaw are through social services, health visitors, YourSanctuary and other services. We work closely with Woking Borough Council in assisting refugees arriving with nothing. We collect high quality pre-owned children's clothing, toys and equipment ( buggies, car seats, cots etc) and provide them free of charge to families in need.
