We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

This year I am running the AJ Bell Great North 5k and half marathon run in memory of my grandfather, who I sadly lost this year to Alzheimer’s.

I entered the run before he passed, but now I want to make it a regular event to honour his memory and raise money for research to help other families.

I realise that the cost of living at the moment affects everyone, so was unsure about asking for donations this year. As I have already paid my run fee’s I have no minimum amount to raise donations for this cause are optional, but every penny helps.

Thank you for taking the time to read my donation page and hope you find out more about Alzheimer’s Research UK.
