Story
Dear friends,
I am running the London Marathon for my 3rd time and the last (maybe).
My chosen Charity is for a family friend, whose son tragically died after suffering a cardiac arrest on holiday, last year.
The family has set up a foundation in his name, Jude Harvey – please read below.
The Jude Harvey Foundation is to run, carry out heart screenings and to educate young teenagers/young adults, across the Southend/Essex area to help prevent and to identify, possible Cardiac Risk to the Young (CRY).
I am well into my Marathon Training and so far, I am doing well. I hope to run under 4.30hrs again however, my body is slowing down (not mentally anyway) but it is all about the experience, rather than the time. Come down and support the runners, if you can, as it’s the best day out in London all year round (in my opinion), as everyone is so friendly and comes out to support the runners, raising millions for so many different, great Charities.
I am honoured to represent The Jude Harvey Foundation and I appreciate any small donations that could help towards heart screening and to educate awareness to teenagers and to young adults.
Thank you for your support and taking time to read this.
Steve
