On the 13th & 14th May 2023 Josh Henderson and Steve Henderson will be attempting our first ultra-marathon. The is an event called The Lap which is a high-level Lap of Lake Windermere in the Lake District, the route is 47 miles with 8200 feet of assent and a time cap of 24 hours. https://www.thelap.co.uk/

We are doing this to raise funds for The Leeds Cancer Centre.

The Leeds Cancer Centre provides cancer care for patients in Yorkshire and beyond. It is one of the largest cancer centres in the UK, delivering over 30,600 cancer treatment’s a year, and providing some of the most up-to-date treatment, care, and support, including highly specialist services not available at many other NHS Trusts.

By donating to Leeds Hospitals Charity to fund the work of the Leeds Cancer Centre, you will help clinicians at Leeds Teaching Hospitals to make a difference to the lives of thousands of cancer patients and their families every year. In addition, your support today will positively impact future generations through funding cancer research that will develop new, more effective drugs, treatments and, ultimately, cures.

By investing in cancer research, new medical equipment and innovative technologies, we can improve both the treatment of different cancers and the process of screening and diagnosing patients. Leeds Cancer Centre is already a renowned specialist centre for cancer care and is one of the largest providers in the country.
