Alzheimer’s Society is Effingham Golf Club's Charity for 2023. This is one of a series of events to raise money to help transform the landscape of dementia forever.

This is a personal journey as I lost my wonderful mother-in-law Liz recently and I saw at first hand the devasting impact of Alzheimer's on her life and on the family and friends who loved her so much.

Great progress is being made on research and it is just as important that care givers get the education and training they need to cope and manage the change.

This will enable those affected and their families to be able to live in their communities without fear or prejudice and get the love, understanding and care they deserve to live out the rest of their days with some hope, joy and happiness.
