Story

On 25th May 2024, my wife Kim, daughter Kelsey, and our family friend Dan, will join hands and hearts as they embark on a daring and meaningful journey. They will take to the skies to raise funds for the wonderful Frank Bruno foundation.

Together, we have chosen to support The Frank Bruno Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing support, encouragement, and motivation for those suffering with their mental health.

The Frank Bruno Foundation is a shining light in a world too often plagued by stigma and misunderstanding. It embraces those in need, offering a safe haven where wounds can heal and lives can be transformed. By participating in this skydive and fundraising event, we hope to raise awareness about mental health and contribute to the essential work carried out by this remarkable organisation.

We invite you to join us on this journey. As Kim, Kelsey and Dan step into the open skies, facing both the exhilaration of the descent and the intensity of emotions, let us remember that the power of unity and shared purpose knows no boundaries. Through our collective efforts, we can break down the barriers that hinder honest conversations about mental health, ensuring others find solace and support where they need it most.

Your contributions, be they monetary or the simple act of spreading the word, hold immeasurable value. With your help, we can rewrite the narrative surrounding mental health, creating a world where compassion, understanding, and resources are readily available to those in need.

May it remind us all of the importance of reaching out, supporting one another, and choosing empathy over judgment.

Together, let us soar through the skies, and uplift not only ourselves but those who suffer silently. As we descend, may our hearts be filled with hope, knowing that, in our efforts, we are making a difference—one precious life at a time.

Most of you will know what this means to us so please lets back Kim, Kelsey and Dan as we continue to raise Mental health awareness.

Having met Frank and his team several times now and witnessed first hand the amazing work they do we decided this was the charity for us. All funds raised will go straight to Franks Foundation and the fantastic work that it does.

With love.

Steve,Kim,Kelsey and Dan.

The Frank Bruno Foundation was founded as a direct result of World Champion Boxer, Frank Bruno, wanting to create a positive change in communities. Frank has spoken openly of the vital role exercise has played in his battle with mental ill-health and is now driven to help others battle their mental health challenges.

The Foundation exists to provide support, encouragement and the motivation to succeed for those currently facing or recovering from early stage mental ill health issues. The Foundation aims to achieve this by providing opportunities to participate in non-contact boxing and mental health and wellbeing programmes.

The Foundation has worked tirelessly to create a safe space for their clients to access, where they can receive support and programmes that give them the tools to help improve their own mental health. This has given clients routine and purpose, something which helps to improve self-confidence, self-regulation, self-worth, social skills and mental wellbeing.
