Hi, my name is Steve and I’m getting on a wee bit the noo and probably too old to do stupid things. However I am going to take part in abseiling 165ft down the Forth Rail Bridge in memory of my mum who suffered a stroke in her early nineties which left her with communication difficulties.

From seeing the after effects of a stroke with my mum I am going to try and hopefully raise £1000 for the Chest, Heart and Stroke charity, every penny I raise will go towards helping someone in Scotland do more than survive when they return home from hospital with a chest, heart or stroke condition - you'll help them really live and get the support they need
