Recently My son was diagnosed with Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy. Jack is 13, loves playing cricket, golf and attending Air Cadets. Jack has recently signed up for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award and as part of this he would like to raise awareness around hidden disabilities and raise some money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

To Support Jack, friends, family and colleagues at Jet2 are participating in a running and walking challenge to cover the distance between our 14 UK bases and our newest destination of Sharm el-Sheik in Egypt. Participants will capture the distance in numerous activities from January to May to cover the 5458 Miles distance.

By fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK, we are helping to fund world-class research into effective treatments, and life changing support for the 110,000 people in the UK living with a muscle-wasting condition.
