Story

So for the last few years I always sign up to the London Marathon for a Ballot place, obviously expecting to never get one…..I was wrong. Having ran the Brighton Marathon and ran long distances between 25-30ish Miles over the last few years, I never wanted to run more than 5k again. But having opened my email and seeing with absolute devastation that I had been successful in winning a ballot place, it seems I will be running one more long distance event.

I was torn who to raise money for. I have raised money for the Royal Marines and Combat Stress over the last few years, and they were going to be my choice again. However I joined the Fire Service 3 and a half years ago, and have seen friends use the Firefighters Charity for injury rehab, and mental health help etc. I feel this would be a great cause to run for, as they do a fantastic job in helping Firefighters and their Families in times of need.

So if you can spare a couple of pounds to sponsor me in my run then please feel free to donate, however small the donation it all helps!

Thanks in advance for all of your kind donations.
