Story
on the Saturday 6th December 2022 I was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma. This reached my lymph nodes and I had to have surgery to remove the cancer. A year on and so far so good. So 362 days after being diagnosed on the 2nd December I’ll be taking part in a white collar boxing match
I’ve had some amazing support from my amazing wife, Helen, my 2 beautiful children Sonny and Iris and my ever supporting family and friends. So many people have checked in with me and given me that boost just when I needed it. I can remember Tony checking up on me all the way from Ibiza, kieron telling me it will all be good and Helen being the rock to cheer me up when I needed it most. To say it’s been scary would be an understatement but my friends and family and have helped me stay positive and helped me beat cancer so far. There have been plenty of tears and some smiles along the way but I feel grateful every day
Without the care of the Christie I can not say if I would be here today, the work they do is nothing short of miraculous and the care I received has been crucial. So I’m hoping to raise some much needed cash for this amazing charity and hopefully get fit along the way please dig deep and if you fancy seeing me get punched in the face come and watch the boxing on the 2nd of December if you don’t want to see me get punched in the face then please donate
