White Lodge Centre is a charity that supports children and adults with a range of disabilities. It provides services to those it supports, their families and carers to lead fulfilling lives.

White Lodge has been a huge part of our lives for the last thirteen and a half years. In fact since Megan was less than 6 months old. In the earlier years we benefited from specialist physio and speech and language therapy and in more recent times from the weekend and holiday clubs that Meg absolutely loves. Meg also stays at Tree Tops, at White Lodge, one night a week and whilst we love Megan more than anything this respite it absolutely priceless to us.

To raise money for this amazing charity we are taking part in the annual Superhero Triathlon at Dorney Lake near Windsor.

We are hoping that Meg does the full sprint distance. That’s a:

150 metre swim (or sitting in a kayak and being towed by dad swimming in front)

3km bike ride (mum will be peddling and steering)

1km walk (being pushed in her chair by Miles with support from Mum, Dad and family and friends.

For those of you who know Meg (if not think of a naughty toddler in a teenagers body) you will know that it will be a huge challenge to get round in one piece (and the right direction).
