Story

Myself and work colleagues are joining The Movement Centre on this experience of a lifetime Sunday 11th June.

Snowdon, a popular summit trek by day-time, it forms a real challenge by night.

Standing at the summit by moonlight will be an unforgettable experience, as will seeing the sunrise from the mountain slopes as we descend. Witnessing the spectacular landscapes opening up before us as the day grows lighter is a magical and unforgettable experience.

The Movement Centre is a UK charity and specialist physiotherapy centre. They are dedicated to supporting children living with movement disabilities, and their families.

Through a course of Targeted Training therapy children can gain head control, so they can interact with their family; it can help children develop the skills to sit unaided, so that they can play with their friends. For some children it can enable them to walk, which means they can be far more independent!

Most of us take for granted the ability to control our head, sit, crawl, stand or walk. We help children with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay & other problems of movement control to achieve these skills through a unique therapy, Targeted Training, which can completely change their lives.
