We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

So on the 12th March 2024 my sister gave birth to Parker Rayner.

Parker was born with a rare condition called Edwards syndrome and was extremely poorly from birth, in fact his birth was a miracle itself. Against all odds Parker fought hard and blessed us with four weeks in his company. Everyone fell in love with him the moment they met him and he holds a very special place in our hearts.

Unfortunately as hard as he could fight this was a battle that he could not win leaving everyone around him heartbroken.

The support that “The Tree Top Hospice” in Ipswich gave during this difficult four weeks was beyond that of words so I have decided to do a charity event as a legacy to Parker and to raise much needed funds for “Each”.

I will be riding from Lands End to John O’groats on a monkey bike over three days.

Please dig deep for a charity that needs your support, request friendship to follow the journey and please share this with everyone you know.

We all hope to never use a facility like this but for those that have to, let’s help make it even better than it already is.
