Story
This is the fundraising page for This Helicopter Runs, a 43 mile relay run on 30 June 2024 by a number of local runners to raise funds for Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA) after they were involved in looking after another one of our local runners - Stephanie Thorp -when she was involved in a car accident just outside the border of Bedfordshire.
If you're here then you're either a runner or have been directed here by one of our runners - you're welcome either way and we hope you're here to donate to the TVAA and support whomsoever it may be that brought you here.
Details of the event itself and how to get involved can be found at https://thishelicopterruns.wordpress.com/
You can also subscribe to our blog on that website to keep updated on how we're building the day/route and ultimately track the relay run itself.
Why do Thames Valley Air Ambulance need funds?
Thames Valley Air Ambulance exists to give everybody within our community the best chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency. We are here for you and your loved ones. In Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. Whoever you are, wherever and whenever you need us. Together, we do everything in our power to protect, save and revive lives, with the best critical care at the scene and beyond.
We are not government or lottery funded, so we rely on the generosity of our community – and people like you – to fund us.
