Story

As those of you who knew him will know, Dad did his bit to raise money for charity. Whilst I don't plan to dress up as Pudsey and ride the length of the country on a Harley Davidson, I would like to raise funds where I can.

The Rosemary Foundation provided invaluable support during Dad's last days. Supporting us through difficult moments, any time of day or night, allowing us to all get some sleep and just generally allowing us to keep going through the hardest moments.

The women that supported our family were so kind, warm and strong and I cannot praise them highly enough. I hope that by supporting their charity they will be able to continue to help families as much as they helped ours.

Last year, I and a group of friends did the 50km Ultra Walk on the Isle of Wight - for fun! It was a wonderful day of talking with old friends and enjoying the views. It was also hard. A lot harder than we thought it would be and we all wobbled over the finish line with aching muscles and blistered feet. It took us around 14 hours including some time for food stops.

The aim this year is to finish the 50km walk with less blisters and in a slightly quicker time. It would also be wonderful if the blisters could help others, so if you can, please donate what you can to this amazing charity and the people who work there who I will forever be in awe of and grateful to.
