Story

I am excited to be taking part in a sky dive on 27th July at Dunkeswell air field.

I will be completing this sky dive for It's In The Bag Testicular Cancer Support, it has always been a dream of mine to skydive and what a better way to raise money for a charity then jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft.

This charity supports families and young men that are going through the journey of testicular cancer, by providing financial support, information packs and support groups. Please help me as I try and raise as much money as possible for such an amazing charity.

It’s in the Bag is run by a group of survivors with support from specialist NHS staff and provide hands-on support for men with testicular cancer (germ cell) in the South-West. We have three simple aims: Support: Being diagnosed with testicular cancer and going through treatment is a huge challenge – physically, mentally and emotionally. We provide a range of activities and initiatives to help men through this tough time. Awareness: We teach men the importance of checking their balls regularly and taking any issues straight to their GP. Spreading this knowledge promotes earlier diagnosis, which often means simpler, more effective treatment and better chances of a cure. Survival: With UK cure rates for testicular cancer running above 98%, we focus on survival helping guys tackle the emotional and practical impact of cancer, both during treatment and into their lives after.
