Thistle Piping is a local "bagpiper for hire" business in Aberdeen, founded in 1999 by Proprietor Pipe Major Julie Brinklow. Julie was planning a celebration for the business's 25th anniversary until some devastating news was delivered - a breast cancer diagnosis and an uncertain future.

Fast forward to 2024 and Julie is recovering well. We’re all very grateful of that and want to give something back to the charities who have supported her through the last year and beyond.

We (myself, Julie and some of the Thistle Piping Team/pipe band) are walking 18 miles in June for the Aberdeen Kilt Walk.

I hate asking people for money but if you feel able to donate anything at all that would be amazing.
