Story
Thanks for stopping by!
As many of you will be aware, I have had my own personal experience with "The Big C" over the last two years after being diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma (skin cancer). What started with noticing a small lump (on Christmas Day of all days) and being told “not to loose any sleep over it” to a life changing operation which left me struggling to walk and a year of invasive immunotherapy with all its rubbish side effects. I’ve had more scans and blood taken out of me than you can shake a stick at but I’ve also met so many amazing professionals who have shown me so much kindness and compassion along the way! So to mark my personal journey but also in memory of all the wonderful people we have lost to this horrid condition I have chosen to throw myself completely out of my comfort zone to support a world I never chose to be part of, but that is now part of my world.
This June, I will be trekking approximately 100km across 5 days in the Brecon Beacons, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel!'s life-saving mission. Lets not lie, even me camping for a week is worth the sponsor money alone!
Your donations will not only contribute to my fundraising target, spur me on when I'm hauling myself up a mountain, but most importantly support CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer and I am thrilled to be offered the opportunity to take part in this trek!
Thanks so much for your donation & support.
Big loves,
Sx
