Getting Ready for an Epic Adventure: Conquering Fears and Supporting Derian House Children's Hospice

In 2023 the STEM Construction team have chosen to support Derian House Children's Hospice.

Initially, seven brave members of the awe-inspiring STEM Construction team had fearlessly agreed to conquer a heart-pounding 160ft abseil, but this event was sadly cancelled with just a few weeks to go!

So instead, two foolhardy individuals have committed to take part in a heart-stopping skydive! As "Dare for Derian" day gets closer, we need your support!

Steve Thornley and Chris Newton will be jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft above the North Lakes on Sunday 16th July to raise funds for this wonderful charity.

Why is this adventure so special? Well, it's not just about conquering heights and pushing limits; it's about making a difference in the lives of children with life-limiting or life-shortening conditions. Every single penny we raise through this daring endeavor will be donated directly to Derian House Children's Hospice.

Derian House is a beacon of hope for countless children and their families in the North West of England. They provide respite and end-of-life care, offering a sanctuary where kids can experience joy, laughter, and love despite the challenges they face.

Now, let's talk numbers. Our goal is to raise a minimum of £350 for each of our intrepid skydivers. We believe in their determination, and we believe in the power of our community to rally together for this incredible cause.
