Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Serious Youth Violence led to 42 young lives being lost unnecessarily due to stabbings last year.

The recent brutal and violent murders of teenagers, Harry Pitman, Elianne Andam, Tyler Donnelly, Nathan Bawuah, Max Dixon, 16, and Mason Rist, 15 have resulted in it being a pressing and heart wrenching tragedy requiring a collective plan of action to find solutions.

Today, their Parents, Siblings, Families, Friends and communities are left absolutely devastated.

Besstel Foundation in collaboration with local community Church, the Destiny Apostolic Church International simply had to respond with a cohesive, collaborative and coordinated approach by setting up this page to connect with everyone to help find solutions and put an end to these homocides.

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Concerned Citizens,

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to support the Funding of Logistics, Catering and Operations for our upcoming Youth Safety Conference, dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of Knife Crime and other dangerous violent activities plaguing our communities.

This is a scheduled quarterly event, the first of 2024

Scheduled for Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at 9:30 am at the Destiny Apostolic Church International 333 Romford Road E7 8AA in London, this event seeks to bring awareness, foster open dialogue, and provide support systems for our youth.

Birmingham September 2024 and Manchester December 2024 dates to be confirmed in due course.

Up next will be a Croydon Discussion/Workshop event due to be held on Saturday the 29th June 2024, at the New Life Christian Centre Croydon.

In recent years, the rise in violent knife crime and other dangerous activities among our youth has reached alarming levels.

Lives are being lost, families shattered, and communities torn apart.

It's imperative that we come together to confront these issues head-on, and that's where your support comes in.

The purpose of our discussion /workshop event is threefold:

* Raise Awareness: We aim to shine a spotlight on the root causes and influences behind these activities, including the role of social media, music, and other societal factors. By understanding the underlying issues, we can better address and prevent them.

* Foster Dialogue: We believe in the power of open dialogue and honest conversations. Our conference will provide a safe space for youth, families, and community leaders to come together, share their experiences, and brainstorm solutions.

* Provide Support: We cannot ignore the devastating impact these crimes have on families and communities. Our event will not only address the mental health effects on victims' families but also provide resources and support systems for those affected.

Your generous contributions will directly support the logistics of the event, including venue rental, catering services, promotional materials, and guest speakers.

Additionally, your support will enable us to actively involve families and siblings affected by these crimes, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs addressed.

Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our youth and promote a safer, more supportive community for all.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will contribute to the success of this crucial event.

Thank you for considering our cause and for your unwavering support in creating a better future for our youth.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Stella and collaborating partners.
