StarBase Leicester is THE geek group of Leicester creating a friendly space to be yourself and find new friends. We also like to prove everyone can make a difference and the members voted Loros as our 2024 charity

We will be walking, cycling, running (anything without a motor) 2581.70 miles!!! That's Leicester Clock Tower to the North Pole!

The team will be encouraged to do extra miles and change their usual commutes to a walk etc so getting healthy while helping a charity AND helping the planet! And just think... we’re the cliché group for spending the summer inside. What a challenge!? Let's prove geeks and gamers are amazing too!

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
