As a community group in Leicester, we like to help others and prove everyone can make a big difference! We will be walking, cycling and even rowing 1779 miles! the same distance Frodo travelled with the One Ring between Hobbiton and Mount Doom. All in aid of Loros as chosen by our club members.

These will be extra miles that are usually never done or done by car so we will be getting fit, helping a charity AND helping the planet! And just think we’re the cliché group for spending the summer inside watching movies, reading gaming etc. What a challenge!? (If we manage the full journey we’ll keep going and see if we can attempt the return journey too totalling 3558)

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay.
