Event: Big City Sleepout – Winter 2023, on 4 December 2023
‘Big City Sleepout’ will return to the Brighton i360 terrace! As well as helping to raise funds, this event is also designed to give you a tiny glimpse into the challenges young people face when sleeping rough (currently about 25% of our clients).

Story

On Monday 4 December, Stan, who is a trustee at The Clock Tower Sanctuary, is braving the cold by taking part in the charity’s 2023 Big City Sleepout on the Brighton i360 terrace.

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in service providing information, advice and support to young people aged 16-25 experiencing homelessness in Brighton & Hove. The charity works with young people to help prevent further decline, unlock their potential and get their lives back on track.

This fundraising event offers a glimpse into the challenges young people face when sleeping rough and will help support the brilliant work that the Clock Tower Sanctuary do.

£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes, have a hot meal and talk to our specially trained volunteers.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity in helping young people experiencing homelessness in Brighton & Hove to be safe, secure and happy.

Stan
