Story
Taking 4 dogs on a hike SEEMED like a good idea!! Lil bit slipped his leash and tore through the neighbors yard ready to run, Nacci refused to get off the couch, Tyler and Rylee were the only well behaved pups in the bunch!!
Learning takes on a new meaning when guided by the wisdom of the great outdoors. There’s so much to experience beyond desks or books or even four walls. In nature’s classroom, lessons are everywhere. We observe science in the wild—the position of the sun telling the time, plants and animals moving through the cycles of life. We learn the joy of movement. We cheer for boldness and bravery, making space to try new things. We ask why and how and spark curiosity for a lifetime. We see possibility in every adventure—and potential in every adventurer.
When we venture outside with our students, we do so with a simple hope: to awaken a connection to the natural world. Because when kids form personal connections with the world around them, they’re compelled to care for its fate. To shape its future. To become good stewards of its endless gifts–and even better students of life.
So don't be like Nacci, tie up those sneakers and get them muddy!!
