The children's transplant team, the Evelina London VIPs, are taking part in the British Transplant Games, which will be held in Oxford in August 2025.

The games are annual highlight for children with transplants and their families. The incredible event marks a return to fitness for so many children and provides important peer and family support, all while highlighting the importance of organ donation.

However, a transplant is not a cure - it is a lifelong treatment, and our VIPs will be attending hospital regularly for their entire lives!

We want each child to be supported and encouraged to reach their potential, particularly after overcoming obstacles such as long term illness, multiple hospital admissions and operations. The Transplant Games helps our team toward this goal.

The entire team will take part in the Organ Donor Run which will be held in the grounds of Blenheim Palace on the 2nd August, this means Naia and all of us as a family will be getting our running shoes on!

The Evelina team are our family and there are so many ‘thank you’s’ needed to the staff, nurses, volunteers, play therapists and consultants.

Your donations will be allocated to the Paediatric Transplant Fund at Evelina London Children's Charity, and so directly supporting the Evelina London VIPs. This is so close to our hearts and our ‘big’ girl has been supported every step of her journey.
