Story
I was diagnosed in 2021 with SLE and have struggled on and off to manage my symptoms. Chronic Fatigue and pain in my knees and wrists is the worst. I have also lost quite a lot of my hair which has recently been confirmed as Lupus.
I feel like Lupus is soo unknown and it needs more awareness.. so i have decided i will walk 31 miles this October in hopes of raising some money to help this cause. I hope you will help me reach my very achievable target of £50! Thank you.. 💜💜💜
October is Lupus Awareness Month in the UK, which aims to raise awareness of lupus amongst the public and medical profession, and improve understanding of the impact that this autoimmune condition can have on the lives of those living with it.
LUPUS UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with systemic lupus and discoid lupus and assisting those approaching diagnosis.
A small donation can go a long way in helping us to support people with lupus. You can find a range of activities to take part in on the LUPUS UK website at www.lupusuk.org.uk/lupus-awareness-month.
